Origem

The goal of this project was to design an organic chocolate packaging series. In order to achieve a creative approach, I decided to apply the chocolate-making process as the illustration series, which allows customers to learn the steps of producing while purchasing the product.

Personas:

  • People who are concerned about organic foods.

  • Young generations who are interested in the history and background of chocolate production.

Product: 5 pieces of Chocolate packaging as a design series.

 

Research

I have researched the chocolate-making process and the green production steps usually include harvesting, fermentation, drying, roasting, blinding, coaching, tempering, mixing sugar and milk, and molding. Also, I found there are competitors of organic chocolate packaging usually some kind of vintage colors. Therefore, I determined to illustrate in a vintage style for a simplified 5 steps which are:

  • Harvesting

  • Roasting

  • Coaching

  • Mixing

  • Molding
