Research of Song
The Song lyrics of Sleepyhead seem to tell a story. The story starts with a sleeping princess who sleeps all day long. One day, a man came to the country and wanted to marry the princess, but the king said no, no one could wake her up.
The man led his army to attack the princess's country, so the King cries and wakes up, and wants her to end this war. The man wants her to wake up and take her away. But still, the princess did not wake up. The end of the story leaves us with two questions.
Did she ever wake again? ...
Will she ever wake again? ...
Let me dissect the story... Why didn't the princess wake up? We all know that we can never wake up one pretending to be asleep..The princess did not want to be a political pawn for her father, to marry a king, or to be a trophy for an admirer. Therefore, she closed herself has been sleeping, in the dark of the castle, even in her most brilliant years of life. So, answer the last question.
Will she wake up? ...
Process of Logotype
The word that I finally selected is "Silent", which I considered as one of the most appropriate adjectives to describe the story of a sleeping princess.
Then, I split up this word into a single letters, which allows me to recombine them together in a meaningful and interesting way.
Here, the separated letter “i” and “n” could compose a word “in”, which relatively represents the man from the story who would like to attack the castle of the sleeping princess.
